Hours: Mon-Fri 8.30 to 17:00(May be required to work outside of these hours as business requires but time given in lieu)
Job Role
To be the point of contact for all maintenance and repairs, liasing with service providers and ensuring best service from all our contractors, and to help maintain & improve the facility through liaison with relevant departments on site. The role will include checking devices, structures and systems (e.g. HVAC, building maintenance) on a regular basis and identify needs for repairs.
Duties
Arrange for renewal of annual maintenance contracts and action service reports including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, forklifts, fire system, ventilators, doors, scales, compressors of equipment and internal systems
Ensure overall adherence to the quality, environmental, health and safety standards of the company. Co-ordinate and manage work performed by contractors or suppliers.
First point of contact for all facility related issues / concerns / repairs
Be responsible for all general site maintenance.
Generate and maintain the purchase orders and vendor contracts related with maintenance of the facility.
Operate and manage waste management processes and contracts
Communicate and liaise directly with departments to coordinate maintenance and repairs.
Available to be assigned on-call after business hours and respond to emergency situations unplanned problems and repairs as found necessary
The ideal candidate will have the following Skills and Attributes:
Qualification
Must have at least 2 to 3 years` experience in a similar role and FMCG environment
A BEng qualification relevant to Manufacturing would be an advantage
Sound understanding of safety & environmental regulations or time serviced expereince
