Finance Analyst
Location: Brixworth
Salary: up to 25k
Hours: 8.45am -5.00pm
Finance Analyst will play a key role in coordinating reporting, forecasting and control activities across the group. This includes assisting with consolidation of monthly management accounts and rolling forecasts, liaison with local finance teams, regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis and helping to develop and implement groupwide systems and controls.
skills and experience:
Familiarity with basics of accounting for key areas of a manufacturing business (sales, purchases, stock, etc.)
Familiarity with working with consolidations or multiple currencies desirable though not essential
Good communication and organizational skills, ability to work as part of a distributed team and support members globally
Excellent mathematical skills and analytical ability
Good presentation skills and attention to detail
Desire to drive automation and process improvement
Software and systems:
Strong Excel skills
Experience with Microsoft Office programs
ERP (AX2012 / D365) or similar
Power BI
Comfortable working with and manipulating data – data-savvy and digitally adept
Qualification:
Qualified or part-qualified accountant (AAT or similar) ideally level 4
Employer coverage of cost professional qualification, company will fund 50% of course and exam fees.
And/or:
Bachelor`s degree, or studying towards a qualification in business, finance, accounting or a related field
Experience in a similar role
