Internal Sales Support Engineer

Salary £25000- £30000 pa plus annual performance bonus

Technical sales support Engineer, supporting the sales of a wide range of industrial solutions into a broad variety of OEM market sectors to include Automation, Process/Packaging, Medical, Aerospace, Defence, Marine and Oil & Gas.
The role:
To support the external sales engineers.
To offer technical support and guidance on a suitable for the customer application.
To identify and pursue other possible opportunities from enquires with proactive sales approach.
Generate new sales opportunities for external sales Engineers through proactive targeting of both existing and new markets/industries, making point of contact and identifying key decision makers.
Experience Required:
Previous sales support experience essential.
Technical bias in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with recognised qualifications.
Good interpersonal & communication skills.
Team player.
Able to liaise with contacts at all levels.
Previous experience of using CRM system essential
Computer literate; proficient in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint .
Excellent verbal and written skills.
