Our client is looking for an Internal technical sales engineer supporting the sales of a wide range of motion products and bespoke solutions into a broad variety of OEM market sectors to include Automation, Robotics, Simulation, Process/Packaging, Medical, Aerospace, Defence, Marine and Oil & Gas.
The Role:
Fielding and pre-qualifying inbound sales inquiries.
Handle 1 off/ low to medium value projects.
Preparing technical proposals as well as EPICOR quotes.
Liaise with engineering and production teams.
Sizing of actuators and motors using engineering tools as well as own calculations. Desirable top be able to calculate from first principals.
Main point of contact for 1 off projects. Responsibility from inquiry to after sales support.
Handle non OEM/repeating project. These will be handed across to external sales team.
1st point of contact for post sales issues.
To assist in managing existing accounts through ongoing contact on regular basis.
Skills and Experience required:
Previous internal sales experience preferred.
Technical bias in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with recognised qualifications essential.
Good interpersonal & communication skills
