Location: Bishops Stortford
Salary : DOE
Monday to Friday, 8.30am -5.00pm
The role: Preparation of samples for customer briefs.
Maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment and good laboratory practices
To accurately dispense oils in a clean and safe manner to finished products, meeting the deadlines required from the project initiator, salesperson, perfumer or Laboratory Manager.
To maintain the fragrance library in a neat & tidy manner in order that contamination of fragrance oils can be prevented.
To transfer finished samples to agreed deadlines to project initiator according to quality guidelines.
To liaise with the project initiators, perfumers or Laboratory Manager any issues that may delay sample deadlines.
To help maintain stock of all laboratory consumables jars bottles etc.
Qualification
Graduate or studying toward a relevant qualification in a related science field will be an advantage
Skills and knowledge Required:
Good communication at all levels
Good sense of smell
Good computer literacy.
Good time management and multi-tasking skills
Ability to work under pressure, in a team or as an individual
Methodical and precise working practices
Keen eye for detail
