Job TitlePayroll Advisor


Our client currently have an exciting opportunity for 2 Payroll Advisors to join the team at their Birmingham Offices, ensuring all allocated payrolls are processed accurately and timely. The role will provide a specialist support service for their internal and external colleagues and customers throughout UK and Ireland.


The role;

Processing timely salary payments

Providing a specialist support and advice service

Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory region legislation

Processing of new starters, leavers, personal and job amendments, company sick pay and any other third party/ ad-hoc payments and deductions.

Attend regular team meetings to make sure everyone is working together to excel in their service offering.

Ensure payrolls are completed correctly and within good time.

Reconciliation and clearance of bank statement.

An understanding of the various pension schemes offered within Group and the impact of calculations on payslips.

Liaison with TUPE team to ensure all contract gains and losses

Processing and validation of all tax and National Insurance/ Social Insurance

Management of Overpayments


The Ideal Candidate;

The ideal candidate for the role of Payroll Processing Advisor would have experience of PAYE legislation, analytical, conversant with payroll accounting, pensions including Auto-Enrolment, knowledge of SAP, experience of working with TUPE transfers would be an advantage. An excellent telephone manner with the ability to articulate telephone queries and to deliver satisfactory solutions.
