Our client one of UK`s leading retailer is looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Advisor to join their team.

 

ROLE PURPOSE:

The purpose of this role is to ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time providing a high level of customer service.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Collating and reconciling retail hours on a weekly basis from clocked and approved shifts

Collating and validating new starters, leavers and employment changes for calculation

Absence Recording ensuring terms and conditions are applied

To adhere to improvement plan and changes

Processing P45`s and starter checklists for Real Time Information

Dealing with employee and government agency queries

National Statistic returns

 

PEOPLE SKILLS:

Must have excellent communication skills and a desire to provide a high quality of service

Support the wider Shared Service Centre Teams

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Minimum of 2 years payroll experience is essential

Enjoy working with the wider Shared Service Team

Ability to grasp and adhere to payroll improvement e.g. new systems and business culture

A high level of attention to detail and accuracy

Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Must have a positive can do attitude and enjoy a providing a high level of service

Have a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet

Ability to work under own initiative and demonstrate a proactive attitude
