Job TitleAccounts Assistant


Our client based in South West London are looking to recruit an experience Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to manage the general accounts.


Duties will include:


  • Working on QuickBooks (Desktop)

  • General bookkeeping

  • Dealing with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

  • Banking reconciliation

  • VAT Returns

  • Excel (vlookups and pivot tables)

  • Manage and pay bills

  • Enter, code and upload and chase invoices

  • Filing invoices and receipts accurately and archiving them

  • Verify and resolve invoice discrepancies

  • Monthly statement reconciliation

  • Manage and respond to emails

  • Answering telephones and assisting with client queries



The successful candidate must possess:

  • At least 3 years General Accounts experience

  • Extensive experience with QuickBooks (Desktop) accounting software

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (vlookups and pivot tables)

  • Confidence with numbers

  • High level attention to detail

  • Ability to work on deadlines

  • Capable of working with minimal supervision

  • Ability to work at a fast pace

  • Good spoken and written communication skills,

  • Time management and organisational skills
