Our client is currently recruiting for a high-energy, driven Account Manager / Assistant Business Development Manager with relevant experience in business services sales, with a value-driven sales approach.

 

You should possess account management experience and a track record in selling. They offera fast-paced, innovative environment where you will be provided with the tools, resources, and outstanding leadership to sell and manage accounts. Their loyal client base is ideal for up-selling and cross-selling their growing umbrella company within the construction industry. Having experience in a similar environment will be highly advantageous but not essential.

 

Job Purpose: To achieve personal and business sales targets

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1.Supporting a Senior Business Development Manager with booking appointments, telesales, client visits and account management

 

2.Managing small accounts initially but would be expected to manage larger accounts as the role progresses

 

3.Manage, nurture, and convert inbound leads into sales opportunities

 

4.Identify strong potential prospects using initiative and creativity, to generate outbound lead opportunities

 

5.Assess and analyse a prospects current process and requirements

 

6.Provide engaging and articulate information about the companys value proposition to

 

potential clients

 

7.Maintain well-organised, up-to-date, and accurate sales information

 

8.Meeting clients face to face to build the relationship and push for client referrals

 

9.Meet personal targets and work towards sales goals and profitability

 

 

 

Competencies:

 

Highly developed communication skills

 

Customer service oriented with a positive, well-motivated attitude

 

Conscientious, hard-working, and driven to improve sales activity performance

 

Good organisational and time management skills with the flexibility to reprioritise as necessary

 

Fluent in spoken and written English

 

Knowledge and Skills

 

1 years proven experience in account management / business development and 1-2 yearssales experience, preferably umbrella services within the construction industry but not essential

 

Experience of working collaboratively in a combined business development and sales

 

team

 

Consistent over achievement of quota and revenue goals

This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. The post holder will be expected to undertake any other duties as may from time to time be required which are commensurate with the level of the post according to business need.

 

A very lucrative commission structure allowing the right candidate to earn commission within their first 3 months.
